The American Mountain Theater’s flagship evening performance is West Virginia’s first and only “Branson, Missouri-Style” live, two-hour family music, comedy and variety show. A cast of 11 spectacular entertainers captivate audiences with a versatile representation of musical styles including Country, Gospel, Bluegrass, R&B and Patriotic. Our heartwarming comedy is sure to amuse the whole family and bring laughs to guests young and old.

The fun continues when American Mountain Theater’s entertainers present light-hearted comedic impersonations of some of America’s most popular performers including Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, Roy Orbison, the Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, the Beach Boys, Tina Turner, the Bee Gees and Michael Jackson. This high-energy show will keep toes tapping and hands clapping.

CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR

The American Mountain Theater’s spectacular Christmas Show sets the stage for a magical night of holiday memories. From Christmas classics to contemporary favorites, audiences delight in the variety of musical selections of this show. Sparkling lighting, sets and costumes, as well as our cast and crew, make this holiday treat a must see.

Christmas shows are scheduled the last half of November and the first half of December each year on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday afternoons at 2:00 p.m. For specific dates and reservations, call the box office at 304.630.3040 or 800.943.3670.

The concept of AMT’s Christmas show originated at the theater owned by Kenny Sexton in the Ozarks. That theater was the first to stage a Christmas show in 1983, and now every show in Branson has their version of a Christmas show and so does the American Mountain Theater.

The AMT cast, plus some added artists, performs sacred, country, and pop/secular musical selections and skits glorifying this most blessed holiday and the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Be part of this joyful celebration as we praise him and give thanks for the one holy night long ago, in a stable in Bethlehem.
